Cape Town - La Liga giants Real Madrid are reportedly planning a last-minute bid for Everton goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
Costa Rica international Keylor Navas is being linked with a switch to Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and Los Blancos are drawing up a list of potential candidates to replace the shot-stopper.
It is claimed the Spanish giants are weighing up an offer for Dutch star Stekelenburg, who is the No 2 at Goodison Park, but faces competition for his spot on the bench from summer arrival Jonas Lossl.
The Toffees, who lost 2-0 at Aston Villa in the Premier League on Friday, signed the Dane on a free transfer from Huddersfield Town to provide competition for places.
Stekelenburg is believed to be keen on making the switch to the Santiago Bernabeu and Madrid are rumoured to have been in touch with the 'keeper's representatives with the view to a possible move.
Los Blancos, who opened their season with a 3-1 win at Celta Vigo, have until September 2 to get a deal over the line.
